Silver Bridge - Mothman Connection

Silver Bridge

The bridge was built in 1928, connecting Point Pleasant, West Virginia to Gallipolis, Ohio. The year 1967 it collapsed, crumbling into the Ohio River during rush hour traffic. Forty-six people were killed. Investigations lead to poor design of the structure and excessive weight; one sink link failure lead to one of the worst catastrophes in American History.

The weird part was that Mothman sightings came to an abrupt stop after the collapse of the bridge. The theory still stands that these two are closely related. Some people have claimed to of seen the winged-man within the immediate facility just before it fell into the river.

Some say the Mothman is the bringer of disaster or a warning of disaster. Either way it still remains a mystery to most of the world.
